Ladye Fayre ... Porcelain Dolls
GreenBox

The Dolls

Each doll is painstakingly sculpted and made into a mold with final castings being cleaned, fired, and polished. Several paintings and firings later, the pieces compose a "real" doll which then has hand blown glass eys inset. The doll is then ready to the artist who he/she is - whether it be Royal Lady, and English Queen, or perhaps a Shakespearean character.

The Fabrics

The beautiful fabrics, many antique or imported, are used to create the authentic replicas of historical period costumes. Each one is carefully researched for detail and construction, including beading, trims, and accessories, and are completely hand sewn.

The Uniqueness

This close attention to detail allows the artist to ultimately create an individualized character whose features and dress are never duplicated. Final authentication can be assured by the artist's signature and date of completion. Each doll is unique and captures a moment in time, whether real or imaginary.
