About the Artist

Sara Dunlap has been creating unique porcelain dolls for over ten years. As a child, Sara gained her sewing skills from her grandmother and great grandmother; a seamstress and a lace maker. The creation of tiny doll costumes was a skill and hobby that carried into adulthood. Ever the perfectionist, Sara was dissatisfied with the commercial dolls available. The search for just the right doll led to the natural transition of doll sculpting. When she is not traveling with her dolls, Sara can be found designing and sculpting in her Middleburg Florida home workshop.
